Lincoln Heights is an upscale, affluent neighborhood on the northern border of the City of Alamo Heights, built on the site of, and surrounding, the quarry of the original Alamo Cement Company location.  Many homes are built on the top of the quarry cliffs, and the original quarry level is now an excellent golf course.  Also within the original site is the Alamo Quarry shopping center -- an exclusive open-air mall and theater complex.  Many of the homes in Lincoln Heights are Garden Patio homes on zero lot lines, and others are large 'estate' homes on relatively small lots.
